I spotted a cute (and simple!) masculine card on Alisa Tilsner’s blog a week or two ago and knew I just had to case it! I used much the same supplies as Alisa, but changed my cardstock colours, moved my squares around a little and added a bit of scoring for interest as well (any excuse to use the Simply Scored!):
Soon after making this card I realised I needed a birthday card for my father-in-law, so using what was already on my desk, I whipped up another version:
Materials
Stamps: Kind Thanks, Happiest Birthday Wishes
Cardstock: Basic Grey, Cajun Craze, Basic Black, Whisper White, Old Olive, Frightful Sight DSP
Ink: Basic Grey
Other: 1 1/4″ Square Punch, Corner Rounder Punch, Word Window Punch, 1″ Circle Punch, Simply Scored
Loving your new website Sharlene. It’s awesome! This card is great – I might have to have a wee play and come up with something! I am also more and more tempted by the Simply Scored… why can’t I have a birthday this month!
