It’s time for another ESAD Blog Hop!  This time we are celebrating the gorgeous new Occasions Catalogue, so you will see 25 talented demos sharing ideas using the new products!  If you have been following the hop you will have come from Monique Fielder’s blog, or if you have just popped in to visit here you can join the hop by following the link at the bottom!

I chose to play with the Watercolour Wonder Designer Notecards & Envelopes.  I love these pre-printed cards because of their versatility!  You can take a note card, add a greeting and maybe some bling and you are done OR if you have more time, you can dress them up with watercolouring, layers, embellishments and more! You can even turn them into little gift boxes!

So this first one is super simple – take the card that is pre-printed with those gorgeous roses and just add a greeting and a touch of bling!

Watercolour_Notecards_SoGiving_MagpiecreatesThis one I stepped up a little with some extra stamping and watercoloring – that gorgeous coloured background is already done for you!  Here is a closer look at the colouring:

Stepping it up again by adding some extra layers to my watercoloured card – a greeting and a touch of silver with the Silver Vellum and Silver Bakers Twine.

A whole extra layer added this time.  I stamped my image and cut it out using the oval framelits collection.  Added some colouring and DSP for the vases.  The border is created using the Scallop Dotted Ribbon Punch and Simply Scored Scoring Board, and then I added my greeting as another layer on top.

And my final project for today- this time I took one of the printed noted cards, did a little bit of scoring and cutting and turned it into a little treat bag.  I created a 2-tone rose using the Spiral Flower Die and added a few leaves.  The bag is finished off with another touch of metal – gold peg and gold bakers twine.

Well that is all I have to share with you today.  If you would like to continue on the Blog Hop then head on over the the lovely Amity Knight’s blog to see what she has been creating!
