Balloon Adventures Shaker

Happy Monday – I hope everyone had a great weekend!  I can’t believe this is the first week of 2017 where everyone is back at work and school for the full 5 days – with all the public/school holidays at this time of year it’s always a bit messy and I never quite know what day it is!

Today’s card is Miss 7’s birthday card for this year.  I LOVE the Balloon Pop-up Thinlit Die in the Occasions catalogue and although it is designed to be a pop-up it can also be used as a flat piece like I have done here.

I used a combination of Sprinkles Embellishments and Confetti Stars Border Punch for my shake materials – it’s bright, sparkly and fun, to match the card perfectly!

I was a bit silly and ordered the Balloon die but not the coordinating Balloon Adventures stamp set which was a bit silly as I then had no sentiment that match the diecut shape perfectly!  Thankfully with our awesome Photopolymer stamps I was able to doctor up an equivalent using the Birthday Bright Stamp set.

Ink: Real Red, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight
Other: Balloon Pop-Up Thinlit Die, Big Shot, Confetti Stars Border Punch, Sprinkles Embellishments
