Colour Your World April Blog Hop

Colour Your World Header
Wow, surely it’s not time for the Colour Your World Blog Hop already – where did that month disappear to?  This month’s colour scheme is a lovely monochromatic:

I love monochromatic schemes – if you are ever stuck for a colour combo, then monochrome is a great starting point!  I have been busy painting my lounge over the Easter weekend so I was inspired by paint charts (incidentally some of the decor at Stampin’ Up!’s CentreStage leaders event last weekend also featured paint chart style items!)

I kept my card super simple – there’s not even any stamping involved – just the lovely Rose Garden Thinlit dies layered over the 3 colours.  The smaller die-cut I covered in Wink of Stella which gives it a lovely silvery finish.

Special thanks to my Miss 10 who edited all my photos for this months post – it’s quite handy having offspring with some tech knowledge!

Did you know YOU can now join in our colour challenge each month?  Head over and check out our Colour Your World Challenge Group here, and then get creating – we would love to see what you create with this months scheme!

Well that’s it for me this month – be sure to hop around the world and check out all of the other great projects to inspire your crafting.  You can start with the lovely Sam Hammond in the UK.

  1. WOW – love this card and how you used colour blocking – looks like a paint chip. I would never have thought of flowers but the added Wink of Stella is a perfect accent!

  2. Lovely card, Sharlene, and I have also been thinking about paint chip ideas for cards so yours is motivating!
