We have had the most appalling winter weather here in New Zealand the last few weeks – loads of snow, gale force winds and rain, rain, rain & more rain – it has caused major travel disruptions for air, sea & road travel. Needless to say I am craving Summer, so today’s card is all about Summer ice creams!
The Melon Mambo strip was stamped using the same stripe stamp that was used on the Lemon Lime Twist ice block – it really finished off the card as the Melon Mambo strip looked too plain without the stamping. The only thing I wish I could change on this card is to have moved the sponged circle in the background a little more to the right – but that’s probably just me being picky!
I used a few different embellishments to get all the sparkle on the card – Basic Pearls, Glitter Enamel Dots & sequins from the Mini Sequin Trim.
