Chocolate Dispenser Box Blog Hop & Tutorial

Welcome to a brand new monthly Blog Hop!  Each month the Thinking Outside of the Box Design Team will be bringing you fabulous projects that are all to do with boxes and packaging!  PLUS each post will have a tutorial for the project so that you can join in the fun too and make your own version!  I can’t tell you how excited I am to be on this fabulous team with demonstrators from EVERY country that Stampin’ Up! does business in!  Here we all are:

To kick off our first hop we are featuring Chocolate Dispenser boxes!  How fun is that?  I chose a dispenser that I had seen on Pinterest but modified it to fit the awesome Whittaker’s Mini Slab chocolates that we have here in New Zealand.

This dispenser holds 6 mini slabs so it really makes it the gift that keeps giving!  I gave my dispenser a Christmas theme but the great thing with this dispenser is that you could make it for ANY occasion at all – who doesn’t like chocolate right?

I used the Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper to decorate my dispenser and then used the Champagne foil and Garden Green base as the starting point for the decoration.  I added one of the awesome Boxwood Wreath Embellishments from the Annual Catalogue and then decorated it with a combination of die cuts, Enamel Shapes and Pearls.  I even coloured the Pearls with our new Ivory Stampin’ Blends Marker to make them match the Champagne Foil Paper!
