Earlier this month I celebrated my 40th birthday. I really wanted to have an intimate celebration somewhere special with my closest family and friends and so chose to have High Tea at Louis Sergeant here in Wellington. Decorated like a traditional French salon and serving the most amazing edible works of art, Louis Sergeant’s decor and french flavour gave me the inspiration for the party invitations in Powder Pink & Gold.
I created a gatefold envelope with a slide out invitation. The background Gold Embossing was stamped using the Hello Friend Stamp Set and the chandelier images are from the Season to Sparkle bundle. I was really pleased with how elegant these turned out – the photos really don’t do it justice!
I am so sad that the Season to Sparkle Bundle is retiring – although it was designed as a Christmas & Halloween set, I think it can be used for so much more! The good news is that you can still get this great bundle here until 2 January (while stocks last)! Thankfully the Champagne Foil Paper is staying – YIPPEE!
