Say that post title 10 times fast! 🙂 Have you seen the cute Bird Banter stamp set – loads of super cute bird images to colour and some funny punny sentiments to go with them! Today’s card is created using one of the Make n Take kits from Stampin’ Up’s November On Stage event – unfortunately I could make the event so had to use a different stamp set than the one featured at the event soI substituted Birds instead
How cool do the strips of bright DSP look – these are from the FREE Sale-a-Bration Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper Pack. I added some background stamping to the Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and you can never go wrong with a tangle of twine for some extra texture.
How cool does the colouring on this bird look? I wanted to highlight how easy it is to combine colours using Stampin’ Blends. I know many people have asked about this as mostly they have only seen colouring done with shades of the same colour, but you can absolutely blend different colours together as well for multiple different looks and to create your own colours! I used the Light Smoky Slate Blend on the birds beak and then shaded it with the Colour Lifter – another great tip for using these pens!
